American Red Cross - Blood donation

I just returned from trying to donate blood at 300 Chandler Rd Tewksbury Ma. The drive was supposed to start at 2pm. When I arrived promptly at 2, they were still setting up. Around 2:10, those of us waiting were informed that they needed to have a printer delivered from another location before they could begin.

American Red Cross in Youngstown, Ohio - Rude, Ridiculous, Disrespectful

Once upon a long time ago, giving blood was a pleasant experience. Those days are long gone. Make an appointment? 40 minutes later, here I still sit. Rapid Pass? Only if someone actually scans it. What a joke. And don’t try to ask, complain, clarify their procedures. Donors are treated as dispensable nuisances. After 5 gallons donated, never again! Blocking all their obnoxious calls and emails. Worst treatment of donors and volunteers ever!

American Red Cross in Greenwich, Connecticut - Terrible

from Paul Galvin: was scheduled today, 12/14, to give blood at 11:45. when I arrived to check in, no one at desk and no one around. Two people sitting said they had 11:30 appts. Some one finally came out and I told her I had already filled out my quick appt. and was scheduled for 11:45. She said they were running a little behind. Waited until 12:15, went up to the desk and again waited. When some finally came out I cancelled my appt. Red Cross is constantly begging for blood donations but if this is the way the treat donars, I'm not surprised they want more people to donate since I'm sure I'm not the only one that is experiencing this kind of treatment. This is totally unacceptable. I have O type blood so I know this is universal and more needed.
