Donating blood
I was going to donate my blood for the second time with a blood drive event in Binghamton University today (10/8/2018). Even though I had an appointment I waited for one and half hours.
Then, I complaint about my situation and they acted like nothing happened. When finally my turn came, they asked a bunch of questions to verify my name, age, address etc. which was totally fine. Then, I showed my RapidPass barcode on my phone via Red Cross app that showed that I already finished all questionnaires.
They did not accept my barcode because there was no last name on the screen! Is it my problem? I showed all my information registered in the app, but because the app only shows my name alongside the barcode, they said they did not know whether this was me!
You must inform your employees about how the app works. You guys are asking my blood in return giving some gift cards and money.
I wanted to donate my blood freely, and this is how you treat.
Shame on you. Because of you, people who will need blood, will not receive it.
Rude, Ridiculous, Disrespectful
Disaster Dats Responder
Been working for two years as a responder. Well we had problems on the team with certain members.
Me and another responder filed numerous complaints but nothing never was done. So when we had our meeting we addressed the problems because I voices my opinion about the disaster manger Rebecca Pittman accused me of making a personal threat. Because it was you g to make her look bad In her job she brought up lies that won't true causes me to have to step down as a volunteer . I have been trying to get a hearing on this because there were three people that was there said they never heard any threats.
Because it was going to disclose things that was going on it would make her look bad. So I would not recommend working on the mountain region with here because if you say anything wrong it will come back home to you. The comment I made was I could not respect here for decisions she makes so she makes into a Personal threat. There are things going on if the public ever found out about deployment money it being abused they would never donate anymore money.
Me as a volunteer was punshished by a another Red Cross employee in the same district without a fair hearing. If anybody was threatened it was me by the email she sent me telling me to stay away from the fire department and the health department.
And I'm a fireman for over 20 years and work calls with this department. So who threatened who
Never received jacket
Superficial phlebitis caused by unsuccessful blood draw
My 17 year old tried to donate at her high school on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Today, four days later, I am ticked that we just spent four hours with doctors and radiologists.
My daughter was treated rudely by the incompetent staff. 1st arm was unsuccessful. A different employee tried the second arm, she jabbed and dug then told her she wasn’t a good candidate for blood donation. This is completely untrue.
We have never had a problem with her veins before. Pain from the second location spread down her vein. This morning, the pain had spread all the way down to her wrist. No fever, but lots of pain at the now enlarged vein.
Strangely, no bruising. All the trauma was done on the inside. Doctor sent us to ER to get ultrasound. Diagnosis was superficial phlebitis.
Ibuprofen and heat is recommended. I am done supporting the incompetence of the Red Cross.
It’s not worth my health or the health of my family. I’m done.
Horrible

Verified Reviewer | Folsom, CaliforniaThey treat fire victims like we are beneath them.
I am a fire survivor of the Camp Fire in Paradise. My wife Laura and I went to the Butte Co.
Fairgrounds Evac ctr. the day after the fire and registered. We went to try and have dinner tonight 11/25/2018, and we were taken out of line because I didn't have the stupid wrist band on anymore. The fat little guy was rude and said we were not supposed to be in there without a wristband.
I told him that I did have one but when I got it on the 9th, you only needed the wristband to sleep there. So we waited 20 minutes for them to look up the registration form that they couldn't find. They found us on the sign in sheet where we checked in on the ninth though. Laura was getting frustrated because her oxygen tank only lasts so long.
So we finally said forget it and left.
If this is how you are going to treat fire survivors, maybe you should let someone else do it. And after my sister donated $1000 in MY honor.
Preferred solution: an apology from the fat little guy who treated us like ***

Sorry to hear you have not "air" in your building but the world wonders exactly how you are able to type this complaint while comatose with no air. Most, if not all landlords do not provide their clientele with air---it is all around us and costs nothing.
